A fiction based on fact story, of two families living outside of Dublin City. Beginning in the 1940s, the story is set in Enniskerry, a small village consisting mostly of farming families. The arrival of the Jenkin's family from England, raised many eyebrows within the community. Being highly educated with high power jobs, they were a total contrast to the Doyle's, who also feature in this story. Mary-Teresa Doyle and Catherine Jenkins didn't get along in their childhood days. Could their adult life's have brought new meanings to them ? Mary-Teresa Doyle, took on the Catholic Church, with its domination and oppression of women in Holy Catholic Ireland. Eileen Doyle proved herself to have resilience. Coming from a Catholic traveller background would her marriage to a protestant settler be accepted ?
