About the Author:

Thrse Reilly and Deborah MacKenzie are both lawyers and trained mediators. Deborah was called to the Ontario Bar in 1982 and Therese was called in 1988. They each have a Master's of Law Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Presently, Deborah has her own private practice in Mississauga, Ontario with emphasis on family law, mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Thrse is Corporate Counsel and Secretary for a major publicly traded corporation, and is a former litigator with extensive experience in providing in-house legal services for corporations. Both authors are well-versed in negotiation, dispute resolution and system design.
