'War in the Pews' is a passionate work that captures the precepts of the first century church. This riveting novel follows the adventures of two couples caught in a church conflict and tracks them as they go through some tingling experiences at a youth camp and the rugged Canadian wilderness. It is a must read for all who have witnessed the failures that brittle church traditions have produced.

The evangelical body of Christ is losing its focus, stumbling through the decades, nurturing a kaleidoscope of captivating activities - social, economic, political, athletic, architectural - borrowed through the centuries from many cultures. These religious trinkets produce gratification for a deluded few, while the masses often move on and die without ever experiencing the peace and joy Jesus promised if His Church would walk with Him. Many churches have already been destroyed. Others are hanging on, involved in serious in-fighting and dissension, hoping for some ecclesiastical miracle to save them. To every pastor who finds himself caught in this conflict, I know 'War in the Pews' will help you escape the crush of 'churchianity'.
