Grade 9-11 While there are numerous adult titles on Caesar, there is little written specifically for young adults; hence this book is a welcome dimension offering a definitive, unbiased account of a man who introduced a new political order, ultimately influencing western civilization. The assortment of black-and-white illustrations elucidate a well organized, clearly-written text. Students studying ancient Rome will find Walworth's source useful; background reading is not essential, assuming readers have a basic understanding of Roman history. L. R.
