Jane Birks and Fiona Hunt are Information Literacy Librarians at the Dubai and Abu Dhabi campuses of Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates. Ms. Birks spent ten years as a teacher-librarian in elementary schools in Australia, collaborating with teachers on information literacy programs. Her previous publications include "A Change in Direction: Integrating Information Literacy into an Outcomes-Based Academic Curriculum." Ms. Hunt has also spent six years as an academic librarian, teaching information literacy in various settings.Review:
