"This book is well thought out, easy to read, and highly recommended for students and practitioners alike. As generational/societal attitudes continue to evolve, future editions will continue to be necessary."
— Steven K. Hamick, BIS, RCP, RRT, AE-C (William Beaumont Hospitals) Doody’s Enterprises, Inc.
"This textbook would certainly be a welcome addition to any health care curriculum or professional practice to assist students and health care providers in learning the art of self-awareness while improving on their communication skills. The art of healing can be developed through its use by identifying ethical, compassionate, and professional treatment approaches to care in the promotion of optimal health care outcomes."
-Anna Walsh, Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy
