About the Author

Steven Lubet is a Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law where he is the director of the award-winning Program on Advocacy and Professionalism. Lubet is the advisor to Northwestern's Trial Team, which has won two national championships, and the author of Modern Trial Advocacy, which has been adopted by over 70 law schools in the United States, Canada, and Israel. He is widely regarded as one of the nation's leading experts in trial theory and legal ethics.

Jill Trumbull-Harris is a law clerk to a federal district judge and an adjunct professor at Northwestern University School of Law, where she heads the school's nationally ranked undergraduate trial team. Trumbull-Harris is the founder of the Summer Undergraduate Mock Trial Institute at Northwestern University School of Law and the past Mock Trial Director for the Pre-Law Department of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.
