LONG VOYAGE BACK is Luke Rhinehart's acclaimed tale of nuclear Armageddon and now available for the first time in a decade as an inexpensive paperback.

--The Washington Post
WHEN THE BOMBS CAME, ONLY THE LUCKY ESCAPED. IN THE HORROR THAT FOLLOWED, ONLY THE STRONG WOULD SURVIVE.
The voyage of the trimaran Vagabond began as a pleasure cruise on the Chesapeake Bay. Then came the unholy glow on the horizon ... the terrifying reports of nuclear destruction. In the days that followed, the world that the survivors had known had became chaos. For Captain Neil Loken and his passengers, their shipmates were now the only family they had, the open seas their only sanctuary, their skill and courage all that might let them live.
A most devastatingly powerful book... an absolute gem of a suspense yarn...rivets you to your chair until you finish it... a minor masterpiece.
Luke Rhinehart has produced an extraordinary tale of human endurance and triumph of spirit. His novel is a marvel, a rare combination of fine adventure-writing and artistic literature . . .
--The Milwaukee Journal
A tremendous work of fiction--utterly gripping.
