About the Author:

Mitchell W. Robin, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and a Professor of Psychology at New York City Technical College, CUNY. He maintains his therapy practice at the Institute for Rational-Emotive Therapy (IRET) in New York City. He also serves as a member of IRET's training faculty, is a certified IRET supervisor, and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavior Therapy.

Rochelle Balter, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and practices at the Institute for Rational-Emotive Therapy in New York City, as well as being a certified IRET supervisor. She is also the book review editor for Illness, Crisis, and Loss, a multidisciplinary journal for mental health and health care professionals.
