A new chapter book for children ages 8-12 who are experiencing the death of someone they know. The morning sun and chirping birds fooled me into thinking it was another normal Saturday morning. But then that sick feeling came back, and I knew Davy would not go bike riding with me that day. I pulled the covers over my head trying to block out the reality the bright morning brought with it. Mama’s voice calling me for breakfast forced me to get out of bed. I took my time dressing and going downstairs. As I rounded the corner into the kitchen I heard Mama talking on the phone.
