Maddy is sure she’s found the perfect hiding place. But the closer she inches toward a strange glow of light under the porch, the farther she gets from everything familiar in Odyssey.
Suddenly, she’s in a strange new land called Marus where a conquering king is about to marry a princess Maddy has seen before in her dreams. But not everyone is rejoicing. The king’s most trusted advisor is hatching an evil plot to stamp out followers of the “Old Faith” forever, which includes the Princess Annison.
Maddy overhears the advisor’s wicked scheme, but to reveal it may mean political chaos. In order to save the kingdom, will Annison be required to give up her life?
