Star Trek:Beginnings is an omnibus volume gathering the first six issues of the DC Comics Star Trek: The Next Generation® series from 1988, with a gallery of their original covers.Set during their earliest voyages, the Enterprise bridge crew learn about one another as they encounter a de-powered Q who seeks refuge aboard the Enterprise as he attempts to learn what it means to be mortal; a world where warriors see battle as a child's game; and a world with dark secrets that threaten both the ship and crew. It also includes an introduction by Michael Okuda, the technical advisor to Star Trek:The Next Generation andco-author of the Star Trek:The Next Generation Technical Manual, The Star Trek Encyclopedia, and the Star Trek Chronology.
