About the Author
The Pastel Society of America was founded in 1972 by Flora B. Giffuni. From its beginnings, the Society has championed pastel artists through exhibitions, the Pastel Hall of Fame, the biannual "Pastelagram", and the monthly newsletter "Alert". New York-based editor and writer Kristina Feliciano is the former managing editor of "American Artist" magazine. She has written on art, photography, and design for a variety of news and trade publications.
