About the Author
George D. Bond is a Professor of Religion at Northwestern University and specializes in Buddhist studies and the history of religion. His previous works include The Buddhist Revival in Sri Lanka and The Word of the Buddha. He has been the recipient of Northwestern University’s Charles Deering McCormick Professorship of Teaching Excellence.
