THE SOUTHERN NATION: The New Rise of the Old South
"At last, someone has come up with a plan! The ruling elite of both political parties will not like it, but Southerners must heed Thornton's words before the window of opportunity closes."

------------
The American South as a captive nation? Yes, just like Poland and the other former Soviet satellites. The South with a right to nationhood, separate from the rest of the United States? Yes, with just as much right to break away and determine its own destiny as the thirteen original colonies had to exist separately from England. Today's politically correct, indoctrinated citizen will say that the war settled all of this more than one hundred years ago, but is the Southern Nation really dead? Does war settle constitutional questions for all time?
No! Blending both historical and contemporary social observations with stubborn activism, The Southern Nation: The New Rise of the Old South is the definitive primer on Southern nationalism--the political drive to preserve the social, religious, political, and cultural traditions of the Southern people. This important new book explores how to reclaim the Southern birthright by developing Southern nationalism in the community and the four principles that Southerners must realize and embrace before they can fulfill their destiny as an independent people.

"All we wish is to be let alone."
-Jefferson Davis
The age of empire is finished. People with a common language, culture, and heritage naturally desire and are better suited to govern themselves. Many Southerners have a sentimental attachment to the dream of an independent homeland. Today, the Southern dream has blossomed into a flourishing political movement.
Historical examples of Southern Nationalism, beginning in the early 1800s, show that Southern Nationhood is not a new idea. The dream has passed like a torch from one generation to the next. Southern patriots of today are responsible for feeding its flame. This book will tell you how to do this. The Southern Nation is a call to action and a baptism in reality. It presents a clear-cut program of personal development that will build the character and qualities a true "Southron" desires and the Southern nation needs.
Common sense, history, and statistics prove that the future of the South is not as bleak as the prophets of doom claim. An independent South would be one of the richest and most productive nations on earth. Combining creativity, technology, and concerted action, The Southern Nation: The New Rise of the Old South gives the reader the keys for winning the culture war.
