The small island of Lindisfarne has a rare quality of light that is marvelously captured in this collection of full-color photographs by Robert Cooper. Each one is the inspiration for a new prayer by David Adam, in which he reflects on both the ruggedness and the often unexpected beauty to be found in this 'holy place'. A rich resource for personal devotion, Island of Light opens our eyes to the glory of God that is always around us, during times of difficulty and times of joy.
