From the Back Cover:

Charles, an antisocial, repressed, alcoholic, virginal computer scientist, creates an artificial-intelligence computer in the hopes that it will be capable of computing highly complex problems; unfortunately, the robot's "brain" goes comatose when faced with such calculations. Increasingly, Charles ignores the computer, viewing him as a failed experiment. Bored and alone most of the time, the robot misses Father, but luckily he is befriended by Charles' housekeeper, Carlotta, who dubs him "Seņor Computer" and nurtures him as she would a child. Ike (the name the computer chooses for himself) learns about humanity through Carlotta's example and through television. Before long, Ike discovers the joys and tribulations of credit cards, mail order, 900 numbers, and women. A la Cyrano de Bergerac, Ike tries to use his new knowledge to help Father get a life... with comic and tragic results for all concerned.

Review:

"A weird and surprisingly palatable combination of PI and the original LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS... provocative... erudite. What can you say about a movie that includes a scene of a droll robot confessing how he talked the girlfriend he has never met into masturbating while watching THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL?" -- David Hunter, HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

"The film dances around both Coneheads-comedic and heavily tragic subjects with the same aplomb... a low-tech, compassionate, supercool tale that somehow maintains a warm-and-fuzzy atmosphere while raising myriad interesting philosophical questions and observations about humanity at large." -- SAN FRANCISCO INDIE FILM FEST
