Readers will still need to master the basics of warp and weft, overshot and waffle weaves (among other techniques), yet the authors feature excellent color photographs and full-fledged instructions, with techniques, materials, weaving finishing, weft sequence, appropriate graphs, and other pertinent information discussed. Many weave patterns will ring familiar to American crafters, such as twill (a herringbone pattern), waffle, and rosepath (flower shapes).
