Reviews

Grade 1-3-Although simple in outlook and format, this is not a simplistic book. Covering all of the basic aspects of rainforest ecology, the people who live there, and the problems inherent in the destruction of these areas, the authors present a clear picture of the importance of maintaining them. The illustrations, however, are primitive and garishly colored. With so many beautiful titles available on this topic, many of which include photographs of rainforest animals and plants, this one is a marginal purchase.
