9781573100960: Subtraction: Quick Tips and Alternative Techniques for Math Mastery, Grades 1-3 (Math Phonics series)

Synopsis

In just minutes a day, your students can master the Subtraction facts 0 through 18. These 10 unique, easy-to-use lesson plans with worksheets, take-home pages and other support materials are all you need for a fast, fun and effective program.

What is Math Phonics? It’s a specially designed program for teaching the mastery of basic math concepts and facts. The name, Math Phonics, is used because the rules, patterns and memory techniques developed for this program are similar to those used in language arts. Most of the rules are short and easy to learn. Children are taught to look for patters and use them. Repetition and drill are the keys to success.

This is an outstanding resource for introducing children to division or for providing alternative teaching techniques for students experiencing problems learning subtraction facts.

Math Phonics is a registered trademark of Teaching & Learning Company, Inc.
