Larry first worked with Billy Graham back in the early '70's and appeared in concerts with Johnny Cash, Pat Boone, and Cliff Richard. Earlier in the '60's he had signed with Capitol Records - the same label as the Beatles and The Beach boys. He sang in concerts with the Grateful Dead, the Doors, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and other secular rock artists. He was openly anit-drug and made no secret of his faith in Christ. He was gospel music's first "crossover" artist and he didn't forget to bring the cross over with him.
