Patricia J. (Pat) Morris of Pitman, New Jersey, was a renowned quilting teacher, workshop presenter, judge, and author. Once a regular contributor to Quilt World , she produced Quilter's Bookshelf, Queries and Quotes and, writing as Jean Pell, Tools of the Trade and Quilters Today . Morris also contributed to the American Quilter and other quilting and needlework publications. Morris judged more than 60 regional and national quilting competitions, has taught more than 150 workshops throughout the country, notably one on judging quilts, as well as a correspondence course with students from around the world.
