This first book explores the experiences - possibly fictional, possibly quite real - of the author via meditation, time travel and dream time. The final results are left up to the reader, with the promise that the journeying is not at an end.

... It was five in the morning when I woke from an evening of vigorous sleep. My ability to rise at this time of the morning was becoming more frequent. In fact it was coming with much ease. But as I woke to begin my ritual meditation, I found myself filled with excitement. For the past few weeks something extraordinary had been taking place. Something that was drawing me to it ... "Timeslipping has combined history, fiction and philosophy in a fascinating blend, yielding a compelling story of travel through different eras, through space and mind. From the opening sentence, where we are presented with the "traveling" already in progress, on to moments in ancient Samaria all the way to Atlantis, to the very last scene in the book on his own doorstep, holding a gift of mysterious origin and promising that the travels are not at an end, we are held in thrall to this narrative of discovery. The author has made what is obviously a very personal odyssey accessible to all, and we are glad to journey with him.Excerpt. © Reprinted by permission. All rights reserved.:
This time there seemed to be an abrupt urgency to the slip, one I had not experienced before. Within a fractual second I found myself in the midst of a warm, humid space, dimly lit by the glow of cottonwood torches. The amber hue threw into relief the frescoed walls of a small dank room.
Two others, men, were adorning my body with various garments and other things. A breast plate slid over my head and past my face where it came to rest on my chest. It was quickly fastened in the back. Large cuffs were attached to my ankles and wrists. An ornately designed belt with a colorful apron was placed upon my hips. The sounds coming from outside the small room grew louder - there seemed to be the rustle and clatter of a crowd and again, a foreign language was spoken that I knew so well. They now placed a large headdress, beautifully sculpted with intricate designs, on top of my long knotted hair and the costume was complete. My two attendants led me out of the room, turning left down a long dark corridor with the flicker of lights like a thousand glow bugs reflecting off the white washed wall at the end. We walked along the corridor painted with glyphs and images of scenes from what looked like rituals, each depicting some kind of ceremonial rite. Suddenly the two men stopped, flanking me, one on each side with their backs against the wall so I could bypass them. I realized the flickering lights were coming from an entrance on the left and I was now approaching it. This doorway was much wider and as I turned into it I could see another wall straight in front of me approximately 6 to 8 feet from where I was standing. I realized I was at a T intersection and the wall of the corridor I was walking along was a dividing wall between the center main entrance of what I now recognized to be a temple. I could see outside of the temple for the first time. Thousands of torches were glowing, casting shadows in every direction. I was standing at tree top level as I looked up to the glittering heavens and the vast sea of forest that stretched clear out to the horizon. My pace was even and steady as I walked to center stage. Finally I turned face forward to the open space as the two men followed me. There we stood at the gateway to the heavens. The crowd cheered in unison. And what took place next was extraordinary............
