About the Author:
David C. Cassidy is Professor of Natural Science at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. He is the author of the prize-winning biography Uncertainty: The Life and Science of Werner Heisenberg (W. H. Freeman), which served as the basis for the Broadway play "Copenhagen." He has written extensively on Heisenberg, uncertainty, and German nuclear research during World War II.
