In this first-ever comprehensive tribute, equestrian author and expert Judith Dutson captures the spirit of these noble animals and provides a wealth of information about each breed's particular history, special uses, conformation standards, and much more. Handsome, full-color action photographs and explanatory drawings enliven every page.
