Synopsis
Terrance is a hotheaded teapot who’s always blowin’ his lid over small problems. But nothing ever feels small to Terrance; it feels big and hot. Terrance’s big feelings make it hard to know if Lanie Cup is tea-sing him or wants to be his friend. If Terrance can learn to calm himself down, it just might be the start of a brew-tea-ful friendship.
Lisa Cloherty, MS, CCC-SLP, and Alex Lopez have created a witty picture book that’s piled with puns and teapot jokes. Children will love learning about how Terrance cools from a boil to a steam to a simmer. The book can be used by parents, speech-language pathologists, and educators to teach children to express how they feel, understand how others feel, keep calm, and build friendships. The story is supplemented with discussion materials, including developmental milestones, parent/educator worksheets, and educational prompts.

About the Author
Lisa Cloherty, MS, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and a children's book author. She loves puns and silly jokes almost as much as she loves mint tea. She is also the author of "Katie Spector the Art Collector" by Charming Books Press. Most of Lisa's stories revolve around community and acceptance of children with differing abilities. Lisa lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children.
Alex Lopez is from Sabadell, Spain. He became a professional illustrator and comic-book artist in 2001, but he's been drawing ever since he can remember. Lopez's pieces have been published in many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, and Turkey. He's worked on a variety of projects from illustrated books to video games to marketing pieces.
