About the Author:

Jennifer P. Askew, PharmD, earned her PharmD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 and completed a primary care residency and a heart failure traineeship. A graduate of the Latiolais Leadership Program at the Ohio State University and approved as a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) in North Carolina, Askew is manager of outpatient pharmacy services at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington and a preceptor of pharmacy students and residents.
