"The Watchman" begins when its narrator, Andrew, finds himself "in a house that I did not recognize." Soon, a strange craft appears in the sky which takes him away up high above the earth. Before long, he hears a voice enigmatically speak the words: "Mark 13". What is the voice referring to?
As Andrew looks down on the earth below him, he sees many events that will be familiar to the modern reader, events concerning such biblical figures as Adam and Eve, Moses and Pharaoh, David and Goliath, and many more. Using the past-the teachings of the Old and New Testaments-to help illuminate the proper path to take in the future, Andrew becomes the Watchman of the title as he reminds the reader of how to stay in the way of the Lord and how not to worship after false teachings; how the reader should not give away what God has bestowed; how to listen to the true prophets so as not to be led astray; and how to prepare for the coming division on earth.
Andy F. Nazario's startling book combines history and science with the teachings of the Bible as Andrew looks down on the world's activity below him. Drawing on all of the poetry and promise, the trials and tribulations of both the Old and New Testaments, the author utilizes history and science to help explain some of the questions posed in the Bible. He also explains what is being told by the author of the Bible and what He expects. A true Watchman himself, as he looks into the ages of time Andy F. Nazario shows the reader what God wants the reader to know and look for. Just in time for the new millennium he uses timeless parables concerning the age-old battle between the forces of good and evil to provide the answers to the questions about how we should behave in order to achieve the future we want.
