Michelle Miller is a cancer survivor, Founder and Executive Director of The Cancer Monument Incorporated a charitable 501c3. She is the author of the book On My Way: A Monumental Cancer Battle Revealed, published in 2005 as well as two children s books, Aggie and Rowdy Say No Way To Cigarettes and I Can Make Healthy Choices, published in 2006 for the Dog Tales Series, a multimedia children s health series which she created. Her upcoming book, Adoption After Cancer: A History of Bias and Psycho-Social Effects is based upon a 3-year research study. Michelle is an award-winning Executive Producer, writer, and host of Dallas radio shows: Monumental People Coping and Living With Cancer and the Dog Tales Cool Kids Radio Show, which are regionally syndicated, as well as THRIVE, a weekly television talk show about living and coping with cancer. As a freelance writer and health journalist Miller s work has appeared in national and local magazine and newspaper publications. She is completing her doctoral dissertation in Health Administration and has an M.A. and B.A. in Literature.
