Terrington Calas (BA, MA, MFA, Ph.D) is the chief critic of "The New Orleans Art Review." He has taught art history, philosophy and painting at several universities. He served as chief art critic of the New Orleans "Times-Picayune" and contributed essays to many journals and exhibition catalogs over the years. Steve Bachmann, AB (Harvard), MFA (UNO), JD (Harvard), has represented many organizations working for social change as an attorney. He is also co-founder of "The New Orleans Art Review." He has written scores of law review articles and several books over the years, including The U.S. Constitution for Beginners (Writers & Readers Press, 1987), illustrated by Pulitzer prize winner Joel Pett; Preach Liberty (Four Walls Eight Windows, 1990); Nonprofit Litigation (John Wiley & Sons, 1992); Lawyers, Law and Social Change, (2001) published in conjunction with the ACORN Cultural Trust and Unlimited Publishing LLC; and three other books of art and literary criticism published in conjunction with the New Orleans Art Review, the ACORN Cultural Trust and Unlimited Publishing LLC: Simulating Sex (2002); EXTREME PROUST (2007); and Unbecoming Jane (2008).
