Award-winning author Erik Rush was born in New York City in 1961. From 1975 to 1985 he was a club, stage and studio musician; he's also been involved in biomedical research, management, specialty aquaria, sales, marketing, graphic design, freelance writing and a few things he doesn't talk about. In 1986 he translocated to Colorado. In 1996 his short story "Der Grubensnatcher" won a Chrysalis first place award for short fiction. Erik lives in north central Colorado with his wife, three children and altogether too many animals.
