About the Author:

Elizabeth Buchanan is Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Center for Information Policy Research at the School of Information Studies, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. She researches and teaches in the areas of information ethics and polity, research methods, information science and distance education pedagogy. She serves on the UWM Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects and has served as technology consultant for the Center for the Study of Bioethics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
