This SAP Press Essentials guide shows you how you can optimally implement SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure 4.0 in the supply chain.
The basic principles of RFID technology are introduced as you are provided with a detailed description of the solution's functionality – with a specific focus on goods receipt and goods issue processes. You’ll quickly discover how you can improve the flow of goods by improving the flow of information. The highly detailed process steps are well illustrated in many screenshots, useful both for an integrated SAP ERP/SAP R/3 system, as well as a standalone solution. Master data maintenance and monitoring are outlined as well as the key technical requirements, interfaces and integration requirements. In addition, the unique guide also analyses results from a variety of pilot projects.
