About the Author
Bruce Faitsch has been teaching biology since 1965 and Advanced Placement biology since 1986. He has served on a number of committees for the US Department of Education, is active in education at the state level in Connecticut, and has served as National Reader for the 2003 Advanced Placement Biology Exam and as an AP biology consultant with Educational Testing Service (Princeton) in 2002 and 2003. He maintains a popular website for AP biology and college prep biology at http://www.guilford.k12.ct.us/~faitschb/.
