Beatrice J. Rizk was born in Bogota, Colombia. Professor, critic, theatrical promoter and researcher, she has published five books on Latin American Theater in America. She directs the International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami and is also a member of Miami s Teatro Avante. Nelsy Echavez-Solana (Colombia) is a professor in the Department of Hispanic Studies at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in Minnesota.
