Forbidden Property shows how Americans have lost ownership of their most personal, private, and intimate property to which all men and women share an equal and vested interest - their body and labor - their very Self. But more importantly, author Grant Sterling shows why the ownership of Self stands as the most crucial difference between a society that drowns in division, strife, and debt to a society that fosters harmony, peace, and authentic prosperity.Through the use of logical and intuitive reasoning, Sterling examines America's social, political, legal, and justice systems to reveal how this literal "loss of Self" has weakened Americans' liberties, created tension and divisiveness in society, and forced debtor relationships upon an unsuspecting citizenry. Reading more like a good mystery than political commentary, Sterling leads the reader on a journey of self-discovery. Readers will discover for themselves how Americans have participated in their own oppression, as well as the oppression of others. Forbidden Property unlocks the doorway to the possibility of lasting harmony, peace, and prosperity, instead of the

From the Author:

Who am I?

Just a man that decided to speak. Just a man who wants to look into the eyes of my children and know that I did not betray their future. Just a man who wants a world bursting with harmony, peace, and prosperity rather than collapsed by division, strife, war, and a debtor economy.

Initially, I wrote this book for an audience of one, an outlet to express my view of the world, a distraction from a health challenge that was trying to kill me. But as the book grew into form and substance, I began to see that others might find it useful to help them understand how the Self and law interact, and more importantly, how this fundamental understanding determines whether we walk this earth as victim or master.

Now, more than ever, we need to understand who we are, and to whom we serve. Do we really know? Forbidden Property will demonstrate beyond any doubt that many of our so-called truths are false beyond our greatest fears. Knowing the truth may terrify you, but possessing the truth can also help return the power and property that is yours to claim.

We live in perilous times: non-existent privacy, diminished due process, search and seizures upon flimsy evidence, detainment without counsel, rabid suspicion, fear and paranoia. Is this the world promised by the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Is this the world we want for our children? In order to implement change, we must first uncover our root problems. Only then can we free ourselves from the obstacles in our path. While Forbidden Property may seem focused on a narrow aspect of big problem, I believe it reveals the root of our predicament. My focus, my goal, my purpose in writing this book is to promote fundamental principles that will encourage and support harmony, peace, and prosperity -not just for America, but for the world at large. Everything in this book, every word, every concept, every proposal, was considered in light of this final goal. We must first take the pebble out of our shoe before we can walk that path. We must first discover our forbidden property, for therein lies our power. Therein lie the keys to harmony, peace, and prosperity.

The conclusions presented in Forbidden Property are self-evident and undeniable, yet difficult to accept. Difficult or not, you will know truth when you see it. What you do with that "truth" will determine your future. Will you be a victim or the master of your destiny? Will you help to produce a future filled with harmony, peace, and prosperity, or allow its present course to reap more discord, war, and debt.

From the Back Cover:

"This book should be read by every lawyer, every judge, every statesman, politician, lawmaker, legislator, law professor, and general freedom lover in America. This is an historic monument of literature...one that addresses an essential problem, a central question, a foundational issue that is directly relevant to the personal lives of all human beings, and especially all Americans...and yet is strangely not even addressed in most schools and universities." Dr. Taansen Fairmont Sumeru, author of Sovereignty Consciousness

Facing cancer and an uncertain future, Grant Sterling initially started Forbidden Property as a possible last testament to an unfinished life. Surviving cancer, he finished this unique and insightful look into an aspect of personal property that most of us barely acknowledge - our Self.

A longtime student of life, law, universal principles, and spiritual teachings, Sterling embodied his life's experience, research, and knowledge into this revealing view of our world.
