Dr. French, author of many books on mentoring first-year teachers, received her Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development from the Fielding Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. She has lived in and taught elementary, secondary, and special education in New York, Florida, California, and Alaska. Dr. French was raised in a Christian home and does mission work throughout the world.
