Chris Wright has been a television and radio meteorologist since 1987. He currently lives and works in Indianapolis. A native of Memphis, he joined the WTHR-TV SkyTrak Weather team in 1999 where he serves as Chief Meteorologist on the 5, 5:30, 6 and 11pm newscasts. He also delivers the forecast weeknights at 10 p.m. on the SkyTrak Weather Network and weekdays on the Indianapolis Star weather page. Chris also hosts The Brain Game, an educational high school quiz show, and makes frequent appearances for local charities and civic organizations.For his work as a meteorologist he has earned numerous awards including four Emmys from the National Television Academy and his writing career has flourished as well. He is the author of five novels: Rockabye Baby - a missing child mystery, Heartstopper - a medical thriller, Trouble in Turn Four - an auto racing suspense story, Bloodline - a romantic tale mixed with political intrigue and Operation Overflow - a children’s adventure tale. Chris resides in Indianapolis with his wife and daughter where he is working on his next novel.
