Linda T. Powell taught music in public and private schools, churches and preschools for over 30 years. While teaching in the Atlanta Public Schools, she created and implemented a program of using music and imagery to help the students develop their self-esteem. Linda completed her three-year training program in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music in 1992. She obtained her Orff Music Level 3 Certification from Memphis State University (1984), Master of Music Degree from the University of Michigan (1966), and Bachelor of Music Education degree from Boston University (1964).
