The Brunn Carriage Manu-facturing Company was, by the late 19th century, one of the premier custom-builders of high quality carriages. However, as automobiles came on the scene, Brunn changed with the times: producing a line of electric cars and, after gas-powered vehicles became dominant, becoming an important manufacturer of car bodies.
This, apparently the only history of this company, is a detailed and lively account. It begins the the 19th century and ends in the 1930's, charting not only the tale of a company and its founder, but a story of vast technological changes.
