"Three Wise Women" is a story that can be used in two ways: read simply as a Christmas Story or performed as a Christmas Play with a storyteller reading the story as actors portray the action. The stage is divided into three sections (as per diagram at the beginning of each part) with each section reserved for one couple. As the action starts and stops in a section, the spotlight for that section will be turned on at the beginning (as noted in the story) and turned off as the action ends. For ease of understanding, costume color will be matching for each couple (i.e., Sophia/Caspar dressed in blue, Tamar/Balthazar dressed in red, Iman/Malchior dressed in gold).

Pastor Liz Meacham is a "second career" ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. She is presently serving two country churches in Western New York State. Her hobbies include oil painting, training and judging 4-H members and their dogs, playing, teaching and directing bridge games and dabbling in history. Seeing a need for special plays & stories that can touch a wide range of people, she has tried to create something that "any" church can perform regardless of size and age of performers.
