It focuses, in a humorous way, on everyday events that happen to everyday people while touring and traveling in a Recreational Vehicle (Rv). If you are an Rv enthusiast, perhaps retired and a current 'snowbird', you will readily relate to the adventures in the book. If you're sitting at home wondering what you're going to do when retirement comes knocking, you will receive a bit of insight into an Rv 'snowbird's' lifestyle. Travel Tales— wants to make you smile and wants to get you up and get you going!

New author Ken Halloran did not set out to be an author. People enjoyed his writings and encouraged him to attempt a book. That's how we got to where we are today. Ken was born to a large, close-knit, family in a small town in the hills of western Pennsylvania. He was fortunate enough to receive a college education that resulted in degrees in Finance and Accounting. Diplomas tucked under his arm, he went on to a successful 32-year career with one of America's great companies, General Motors. He retired in 1998 and now enjoys traveling with his wife of 40 years, Georgia; as well as golf (mediocre, at best), fishing (clueless), guitar (more mediocrity), and writing. He and his wife have been blessed with three children, all established and stable in their own happy homes; and three--what is it they say--"to die for" grandkids. The family now resides in Michigan--at least in the summer--who knows where you'll find them once the snow starts falling.
