Review:
"It is as difficult to tell an epic tale in a single sentence as it is virtually impossible to capture the full range of nature's moods and human emotions in three short verses. Yet, Ladder of Starlight makes a remarkably bold effort to accomplish this artistic feat. This collection is a work that is bound to draw fresh attention to haikus and their place in contemporary American literature." --Publisher
"Each exquisite rung of Ladder of Starlight condenses the complexities of nature, passion, time, and space. This collection is the very definition of the elegant art of haiku, utlizing verse to demystify the mosaic that is life." --Tanya Monita Hines-Wright, author of Mama's Stew: Dishin' Up The Flavors Of Life.
"Ms. Eglevsky's poetry is steeped [ in ] beauty, evocative imagery, and meaning. The vivid stories within the poems make you wish they could continue, breaking the confines of the haiku." --Jenny Alia Kindberg, writer
