9781600374753: A History of Horses Told by Horses: Horse Sense for Humans

On a peaceful country morning, a horse named Bess approaches and connects telepathically with the author. At the mare's urging, the author agrees to write A History of Horses Told by Horses, in which equines trace the historical links between humans and horses, express their thoughts on the impact that humans have on the Earth, and state their mission. The horses' hopes are to partner with compassionate people, especially women, to redirect the course of humanity in a positive way.

The story-telling horses exist. The places and people are real. The multi-layered message relates to the human condition on a personal level as well as on a global scale.

Equine history spans more than 55 million years and five continents. Horses desire to form meaningful relationships with people. Each horse's connection with a human is unique. A horse's assistance is tailored to a person's individual needs.

From the Inside Flap:

A History of Horses Told by Horses is an engaging story, which is telepathically shared by the horses with the author. Their core mission is to address the impact of humanity on the world, and specifically, to empower women to save the Earth.

The equines' stories intertwine being wild, making conscious choices, and participating in human activities with their goal to help people be more compassionate and nurturing.

A reader need not be an equestrian to benefit from forming a friendship with a horse. Horses can communicate with people of all ages, races, and creeds. The horses' story reaches out to animal communicators and those interested in healing and spiritualism.

The author traveled to more than a dozen countries to connect with horses and to meet with experts. He also studied animal communication to increase his understanding and receptivity to their messages.

About the Author:

Howard Alan ""Hal"" Levin was born in the Chinese Year of the Horse. He is an engaging speaker, who has a passion for writing inspiring books such as ""Quotations for Successful Living"" and ""Letters to an Angel."" Hal has enjoyed being an Outdoor Guide, Ski Patroller, Emergency Medical Technician, and Spiritual Healer. He has worked with many non-prot organizations, including volunteering at Humble Ranch (a therapeutic riding program for people with special needs). His home is in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Learning to communicate with animals has dramatically altered Hal's life and strengthened his philosophy of helping people to help themselves.
