David Silk obtained his Bachelor of Science (Nuclear Engineering) in 1984 from Penn State. He later earned his Master of Arts (New Testament) in 2005 from Biblical Theological Seminary where he received the Master of Arts Academic Award and the Greek Exegesis Award upon graduation. David Silk has combined his seminary education with a life long interest in honey bees and over ten years of personal beekeeping experience to produce Bee Parables. He has worked for the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission for over 23 years. He and his wife Brenda have been married for over 17 years. They live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and attend Storehouse Church.
