In his fourth God's Generals volume, Roberts Liardon chronicles God's great healing evangelists of the twentieth century. Journey with such paragons of faith as:
Oral Roberts–one of the most influential Christian leaders in the twentieth century, Roberts had a healing ministry that spread from rural tent meetings to a world–class university, hospital, and medical school.
Lester Sumrall–after being miraculously healed of tuberculosis as a boy, Sumrall dedicated the rest of his life to sharing the gospel and God's healing power with audiences around the world, both in person and through television broadcasts.
Charles and Frances Hunter–often called the "Happy Hunters," Charles and Frances were known around the world as two of the most anointed and enthusiastic evangelists on earth.
George Jeffreys–this Welsh Pentecostal preacher ministered along with his brother Stephen at camps, conventions, and church meetings across England and Ireland, with reports of miraculous healings and other acts of God accompanying them.
F. F. Bosworth–a Depression–era Pentecostal faith healer and one of the founders of the Assemblies of God, Bosworth was known during the 1920s for his interdenominational "big tent" revivals and large auditorium healing meetings.
As you read about the lives of these ministry pioneers, your faith for signs and miracles will grow as you anticipate seeing God's mighty hand move in the church today.

Roberts Liardon is an author, public speaker, spiritual leader, church historian, and humanitarian. He was called into the ministry at a very young age, preaching his first public sermon at the age of thirteen and lecturing in Christian colleges and universities at age fifteen.
At sixteen, Roberts launched a radio program, and at seventeen, he wrote his first book, I Saw Heaven, which sold 1.5 million copies. His next book and video series, God's Generals, established Roberts as a leading Protestant church historian, and both books brought him international attention.
In his mid–twenties, Roberts built one of the fastest growing churches in the US, and established his first accredited Bible college. From this ministry, he founded more than forty churches, built five international Bible colleges, and assisted the poor and needy in his community, throughout America, and around the globe. Recently, Roberts launched a new TV show called God's Generals with Roberts Liardon, which currently airs in more than two hundred countries.
Roberts had the privilege of being mentored by Oral Roberts and Lester Sumrall, and now he is under the covering of both Dr. Che Ahn of Harvest International Ministry and Pastor Colin Dye of Kensington Temple, London, England. As a recognized church historian specializing in the Pentecostal and charismatic movements, he is much in demand as a speaker, writer, and mentor. His voice speaks to a current generation of believers who want to draw closer to the heart and mind of God and impact their communities and the nations of the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
