I once believed in a god whose name was Tim. I was my god, the master of my domain. I lived for my will to be done. I dismissed all religions as scams and mere pyramid schemes. I used scientific theories and earthly tragedies to justify my unbelief which was deeply rooted in pride, self-reliance, and self-interest.My life was great. I had achieved every goal I desired by the age of thirty-one - wealth, position, respect, popularity, and a strong marriage. I had everything, except peace. Then one night while I was driving home alone, I found myself asking God, "Are You real?"The Lord answered my prayer by leading me to a small book. This particular book used scientific facts to completely disprove the scientific theories I had accepted as truth.
