"He stood and looked at us. The weapon was hot and heavy in his hand as he lowered the barrel toward us. His face was streaked with sweat and dirt; his eyes were filled with the horrors of combat. He stared at me and said, 'Are you Mr. Mark?'"
How can you face death squarely while experiencing an absolute absence of fear? You can if you have hope. You can if you have traveled from Guatemala to Kiev to Beijing and seen God restoring hope in the midst of hopeless situations.
Recounting his journey from captivity in Aceh, Indonesia, to freedom, Mark Geppert reveals the reality of knowing a God who never fails us or forsakes us. Mark's incredible testimony is one of belief, action, purpose, and a step-by-step growth of faith.

Mark Geppert is a man used by God to reach His called-out children wherever he is walking and praying. The story of A Faith to Die For is a passionate look at how he has become a fearless follower of God.
--Everett Foss, Retired Borough Manager of Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Having partnered with this dear brother overseas, I can truly say he was born to be a leader and a visionary. His incredible faithfulness, courage, and service have continued to inspire me in my career and my walk.
--Dr. David Peng, Pediatric Cardiologist, Stanford Children's Hospital, Palo Alto, California
I have known Mark for over twenty years as a man of great faith and character who has walked his talk. From the start of SEAPC, God has had His hand on it and has blessed it because of Mark's faithfulness. I know that Mark's life is reflected in the pages of A Faith to Die For. I hope that all who read it will enter into the greatest relationship a man could have.
--Gary Lavelle, Retired Major League Baseball Pitcher
A Faith to Die For is a must-read for everyone with a passion for God. Mark's life exemplifies what awesome things God can do when one invests in a life of prayer for the nations. SEAPC [South East Asia Prayer Center], under Mark's leadership, has seen many unreached peoples discipled and transformed by the love of God.
--Steve Chang, International Sales Director, W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.
Mark Geppert is a humble servant, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. His commitment to this has shaped SEAPC into a global ministry, focused on spreading the good news to the unreached people of the world in prayer and love. A Faith to Die For is an example of the power of prayer and trust in God in a real world setting, which should encourage and empower all who read this work.
--Ralph Polehonki, Engineering Director, Ingersoll Rand, Charlotte, North Carolina
In my close association with Mark over the last twenty-five-plus years, he has been a most dedicated, faithful, Spirit-led servant, with the steadfast mission of winning the lost to Christ. While developing and launching the extensive outreach of SEAPC worldwide, his love for the lost has never wavered. This is a man of great integrity, endurance, and deep-abiding faith in his Lord and Savior, all of which sustains his being a powerful writer, speaker, and teacher of the Word.
--Ken Martin Sr, New York Life Insurance Company
Pastor Mark has been walking and praying for God's kingdom to come upon nations. Many nations have been transformed, and some are transforming and preparing to welcome the King of Kings!
