She also created the PMI Intellectual Property Tutorial for R.E.Ps, which has been translated into eight languages. Besides holding the PMP certification, Barbee also has an Agile Practitioner Certification (PMI-ACP), a black belt in Microsoft Project, a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) accreditation, and an American Society of Training and Development Training Certificate in instruction, facilitation, and instructional design. She is a popular and sought-after speaker around the world, especially on merging Agile practices with PMBOK Guide processes to bridge the gap between the sometimes warring methodologies.

Review:

The overarching guideline that emerges out of this well-written book is be agile about being Agile. It does not just tell us to do it, this guide tells us why, and then what, and goes on to show us how. --Dr. Venkat Subramaniam, founder of Agile Developer, Inc. and award-winning author

Agile Practices for Waterfall Projects can be added to the greatest hits collection of Agile books. The end result is a comprehensive guide for project managers to successfully bridge the gap between the two diverse methodologies of Agile and Waterfall. --Maureen Weverka, PMO Director, Mutual of Omaha

If you are looking to move to Agile, this guide clearly shows you how to use the methodology to implement and deliver projects in todays competitive market. --David Geary, Software developer and author of Graphic Java and Core HTML5 Canvas
