Eugenia M.W. Ng is the Associate Professor and Information Technology Division Head, Department of Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, and Technology and at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration from Concordia University and obtained her Diploma of Education from University of Surrey and PhD from University of Warwick. She is responsible for teaching information technology modules, ranging from undergraduate to master s level. She is interested in various research areas, and her recent areas are: e-learning, blended learning, and learning communities. She has published over seventy articles in conference proceedings, journals, and as book chapters apart from being a research investigator of many internal and external funded projects. She is the co-editor of the International Journal of Web-Based Learning and Teaching Technologies, member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Journal of Cases on Information Technology, and Advances in Web-based Learning Book Series. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Computers in Human Behavior and Knowledge Management & E-Learning. She is currently editing the book Comparative Blended Learning Practices and Environments: Cultural, Disciplinary and Gender Perspectives which will be published in 2009.
